Lord of the Rings documentary
Sunday, 10 April 2005
This LOTR documentary has a difference - it's made by fans who raised money to finance the film. Called "Ringers: Lord of the Fans", film-makers Carlene Cordova and Cliff Broadway look at the influence the works of J.R.R. Tolkien have had on popular culture. Their interviews include Peter Jackson, cast members, and fans of the LOTR story. It is narrated by Dominic Monaghan, who played Merry in the movies.

It has been shown at the film festival Slamdance, but is still seeking a distributor. See http://www.theonering.net/ringers/ for more information.
