 Channel 7, Saturdays 11am Well I have now had the chance to see the first (TV station compile, double-ep) episode of the series which started at 11 am on Saturday 17 th of September. Clearly this series ( The Tribe, A New Tomorrow) is more a spin-off than a sequel/sixth season, to the previous five season run of The Tribe. |

The Doctor brings Rose back to her own time, only 12 hours after she left. Excited to be home, she rushes to see her mother – only to discover that it’s actually been 12 months, and she was listed as a missing person. As she wonders if she is the only person on Earth who knows what she knows, an alien spacecraft roars overhead and, after smashing a great hole in Big Ben, crashes in the Thames. The Doctor is ecstatic to be watching history: mankind’s first contact with aliens. But what is really going on? |

Episode 1.03
The Doctor and Rose arrive in Cardiff on Christmas Eve in the 19th century – though the Doctor thought he was landing in Naples. They arrive just in time to witness strange events at a show of Charles Dickens – an old woman, supposedly dead, expunges a gaseous creature that cries and shrieks until it disappears. Ghostly creatures are taking over the bodies of the dead and they need the Doctor’s help. |
