ImageWritten by Barry Letts, produced and directed by Phil Clarke, starring Jon Pertwee as the third Doctor, Nicholas Courtney as the Brigadier, Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah-Jane Smith.

Recorded in 1993, this is the first of the BBC made-for-radio full-cast Dr Who audio dramas. It saw Jon Pertwee, Nicholas Courtney and Elisabeth Sladen return to the parts of the Doctor, Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart and Sarah Jane Smith - and all three voiced their roles with relish. A fine performance is also included from Peter Miles as the sadistic alien Tragan. Who fans may recall Miles as Nyder in the classic Genesis of the Daleks - another memorable performance. This adventure also introduces the character of Jeremy Fitzoliver, Sarah's bumbling photographer, who returns in the follow-up adventure The Ghosts of N-Space.

Written by Who veteran Barry Letts, this is rollicking good story - well paced, humorous and action-packed, it's a traditional Pertwee adventure. Far superior to its follow-up, it's well worth the thirty dollar price-tag. Go out and buy it!
