20-May -> 26-May-2005
The week ahead: Two big things about "Doctor Who" this week, first it is back from its sixteen year hiatus with the new episodes starting this Saturday night. Secondly either BBC worldwide sales or the ABC has paid no attention to the fact that the dispute with the estate of Terry Nation has been settled and Daleks may be seen again (as they were when the ABC started this run of repeat episodes) because the "Destiny of the Daleks" story has been skipped. This is the story that introduces Romana II and K9 Mk 2 and since I missed the first run of the introduction of Romana II the first time around it would be a considerable understatement to say that I am extremely unhappy. "Tru Calling" calling has moved forward an hour this week, back to 11:00 pm. Speaking of moving timeslots "Revelations" is scheduled for 11:00 pm this week. However it was scheduled for 9:30 pm last night, but went to air at 10:30 pm clashing (and losing in our household) to the final episode of the first season of "Battlestar Galactica".
